Submit (Songs of Submission #3) by C.D. Reiss
So much went on in this installment. Monica and Jonathan continued to navigate through their relationship. They realized that there was more going on than just the physical. Monica's professional career is starting to take steam though because of some underhanded maneuvers on behalf of the record company a friend felt betrayed and tragedy resided. Through this tragedy Monica is able to find her real voice. Monica and Jonathan although they haven't said the words are now committed to only each other. The things that scared them the most they will embraced it. Just when all seems right with the pair, Jonathan's past may just be thing that breaks them apart for good. Will Jonathan's ex wife turn into a woman scorned and ruin things between Monica and Jonathan now that that hold she once had on him gone? I wouldn't put it past her. This is my favorite book so far in this series. It was filled with love, heartbreak, pain, and acceptance. I can't wait read what lies with the next installment.

Tease (Songs of Submission #2) by C.D. Reiss
Beg (Songs of Submission #1) by C.D. Reiss
It seems that Monica has a lot going on these days. A singer who loves her friends who is like her family. A singer who wants nothing more than to make it big and shut up the naysayers. A woman who has been so hurt by the man she loved the most that she decided to give up on love all together. Of course she becomes attracted to her ex boss who only wants her for one thing because he still loves the woman that wrecked his heart though Monica is all too willing to give in to Jonathan's demands. Though with her friends health and her singing career on the line can she ill afford the distraction? I think time will. serve to tell whether it will hurt or make her career better than ever.

Lead (Stage Dive, #3) by Kylie Scott
I didn't know what to make of the leader singer of the group. Based on the previous installments I made him to be nothing but a drunken douche with a wee bit of a sensitive side. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt finding out just how much he sacrificed as a kid and just how much weight was on Jimmy's shoulders. Dealing with his mother and her addiction for years to protect his brother. He never received the love he should have gotten from her all he got was the love of addictions. With that he never knew that he was capable of loving another human being because his mother said no one ever could. Just spending time with him Lena fell easy with him just being himself. Though getting him to rid himself of that old programming took some work. Jimmy wasn't at all as damaged and broken as he claimed he was. Through Lena he saw that he was and could be worthy of love. The group knew the love was there even when he couldn't admit it. Jimmy almost lost her because old the denial. Thankful like David and Malcolm he realized what he had and though he lost he briefly he win her back. With that said I'm all but convinced that Lizzy is the girl that our Ben falls for. With a wedding happening in Vegas no telling what will happen.
Play (Stage Dive, #2) by Kylie Scott
I am so in love with the members of stage dive. While we were dealing with mostly trust and relationship issues in the first installment this book left me an emotional wreck. Maybe because I can relate to both Malcolm and Anne. Malcolm uses sarcasm to cover up his pain and Anne is always others ahead if herself. The way the pair fell for each other had me laughing until I was crying. Love for them was unconventional. I was both happy and sad that Reece played the field and only noticed his friend when she was with someone else. Hopefully he'll learn to not let someone he cares about slip away. There was a health crises that change the dynamic of the story. It was both touching and heartbreaking seeing Malcolm undone and broken and having his brothers stand by him. That is what touched me in book one two, the love and brotherhood. Needless to say I needed a few tissues by the time I reached the end of the book. After I recover I look forward to reading Jimmy and Lena's story.
